A blue-shuttered bastide on the edge of Cassis, where the vineyards run down to the sea and the Calanques begin at the end of the lane. Three calm guest rooms open onto a fig-shaded garden; breakfast is figs, honey and warm bread on the terrace.
The little fishing port, the cliffs of Cap Canaille and the white-stone inlets are all a short walk or a boat ride away.
Warm hosts, great breakfast, ideal location. We'll be back for the hiking.
Boat out to the calanques in the morning, rosé on the terrace at night. Perfect.
Everything you want from Cassis — sea, cliffs, wine and a quiet garden to come home to.
Lovely guesthouse and generous breakfast. The cliff drive up Cap Canaille is a must.
Charming bastide a short walk from the port. Rooms are cosy rather than large — just right for us.
Pretty garden and kind hosts. The port can be busy midday, but evenings were calm.
